Spaceport America is scheduled to open in 2010, and this is the final design. Located in New Mexico, it’s to be 100,000 square feet and cost about $31 million to build. Incorporating the latest in green technology, it promises to be environmentally friendly (minus all the rocket fuel). It will serve as a functional spaceport where Virgin Galactic will send richer than hell people here, or further into the cosmos. For poor people it will be a tourist attraction. It will be the headquarters of the XPrize Cup and the Rocket Racing League. It will also look like a giant public restroom toilet seat when viewed from above.

Goodbye Owen Sound! As of 5pm this evening I officially no longer live in this town. I’ll be back to visit from time to time, I’m sure.

Friday night’s Last Party Ever was teriffic, despite a little noise complaint and a visit from the police. (Stop saying the party was ‘busted’ people! All they did was ask us to be more quiet.) Thanks so much to everyone who showed up. I’ll dearly miss almost all of you and these crazy times we’ve had together. I’m going to miss this place, but only beceause of all the people that have been in it. These past two years have certianly been memorable.

If anyone got good pictures from the friday or saturday parties it’d be great if you sent them my way so I can put them up in TCOW’s image galleries.

You haven’t seen the last of me yet. We’re currently in the process of planning a Halloween party in Chatsworth that hopefully we can get you all out to. I’ll keep you updated here on TCOW.org.
