Teach a man to fish… etc. Personally, I don’t really like fish in the first place, but it’s not a bad analogy. It looks like the missionaries were busier creating dependance. Interesting that as soon as they leave, the people have lost their work, social development, and health care, but the Bible classes are still going strong! I have no objective evidence of what’s going on, so I don’t know if Chavez was right or wrong to kick out all the missionaries, but I’ve seen missionaries in action before, and I don’t trust most of them very much. For some odd reason I’m reminded of a certain South Park episode where the starving Etheopians are trying to eat the Bibles, which they are forced to accept before they’re allowed to eat.

There’s really no relevancy here. I was just reading the news and got pissed off again. That seems to happen a lot these days. So I try to avoid the news. Sadly, it’s often proving unavoidable. We may have to burn things down…

We drank tonight. Mostly by accident. It was fun too. The power went out for a few minutes, all up and down the block. Some guy was driving on the sidewalk. It was all very surreal. I think Owen should figure out how to take down the power grid. It’s kind of nice with all the lights out.

While drinking, I accidentally did this: http://www.tcow.org/snug to Snug’s TCOW forum. I thought The Bunny might be upset, but she was alright with it afterall. Only because of my L337 photoshopping skillz though. There may be some other kids angry at me about the forum’s absence, but I’m not scared of them. Incidentally, CombatSylvania’s forum is also down right now for unknown reasons.

Tomorrow at 2pm a bunch of people (at least that’s the plan) are to show up at Harrison Park to hang out with Cheri, who will be back in town for one show only. I’ll probably be there. You should come too! It will be good times.

I walked to Mr. Sub in my slippers. I think I’d like to go places in my slippers more often. Yay anarchy!

One more thing: on monday I’m going to start working on the new TCOW project. We need to make a commitee. The idea is that we’re going to be setting up various community events for the kids to take place in. If you’re keen on helping with the planning or implementation stage of anything, let me know!

If you can get your hands on it, I would highly reccomend you watch a TV series called Wonderfalls. It’s about this cynical girl who works at a gift shop in Niagra Falls, where inanimate things start telling her to do things. It sort of reminds me of my life. Except for the job thing. And the talking animals… We’re watching it right now and it’s making me feel… slightly more normal.

Yesterday’s attempt at making and keeping an agenda was interesting. A couple of the items on the list actually happened. I’m going to stop making schedules again. They only end up with everyone being frustrated in the end.

Today I have money. It won’t last long. But it feels nice for the moment.

My weblog entries aren’t so good I think, but give me time. I’m working my way back up. I promise, this will be much more entertaining in the not too distant future.

I should probably stop visiting my parents when my mother is home. I always come back grumpy. Also, my house is a mess. Laundry troubles or something. On the plus side, I have a lot of extra pasta. And pickles. James is on his way over to come visit. He’s a neat guy. I hope he brings gifts…
